The Elements of Contemporary Mosaics exhibition showcases the evolving language of mosaic art through 2D and small 3D pieces, highlighting its versatility in material, form, and concept. The goal of this exhibition is to promote the vibrancy of mixed media and fine art mosaics and expand public awareness through community outreach.
Emerging and established Northern California artists who use mosaics in their work are represented, displaying a wide range of artistic styles and technical achievement. Aimee Shapiro, Executive Director of the San Mateo County Office of Arts and Culture, served as the juror. Art Bias thanks the juror and each artist for participating in this exhibition.
